    The type of lamp clamp

    Hi,
I'm about to order a lamp clamp for 150W CHE, but as I said in two other threads, in my county we don't have that many options.

So I've chosen two that could potencially be good I think.

This one is a little more expensive in here:
    https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Delux.../dp/B0002AQCXM

But I also found this one:
    http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/glow_light.php

I'm confused with their "glowing ability" sentence.. Like it emits some light by glowing, but it doesn't disturb their night cycle? Weird..

I would like to one which one of those you think should be better. When it's made for up to 150W, it's gonna be ok with a 150W and dimming thermostat, so? I'm worried if everything is ok.

    Thanks for advices!

After reading the description, the glow lamp has been treated with a glow-in-the-dark layer insude the dome of the lamp. Once you turn off the light, the dome will continue to glow, supposedly mimicking moonlight.

Yes I do understand that, but it will not be with a light source, but CHE. So it will emit something in the night?.. Okay, I'll rather go with the safe one, so I'll order the Zoo Med one. Thanks!

I would assume you would not get the glow effect with CHE. Most glow-in-the-dark paints are light activated. I think the plain lamp would be the safer bet.
