    Eye damage?

Can you take a look at the below pics and tell me what you think? I'm wondering if a non-retained eye cap was removed when I was helping Norm with the remaining stuck shed on his head from when we bought him. His right eye specifically. You can see that it is edged in a little white. It's also smaller than his left, which looks normal to me.

If the good eye cap was removed, will it repair itself during his next shed? Do I need to take him to the vet? Would any damage be permanent?

Are there concave indentations on that eye? Dehydration shows up in their eyes, and if the eye-cap is buckled that could pull the white surrounding tissues
into view, giving the appearance of a white rim. I know I've seen a BP somewhere before with an eye like this...don't know what happened with it though.
A vet might be your best bet...eyes are kind of important & touchy.

And btw, I can't tell from here if that eye is indented...but sometimes a weird shed will also leave a bit of white rims around the eye that will disappear in a
few days as the tissues settle back down...I hope that's all it is.

You'd have had to have been REALLY aggressive to have removed his "good eye-cap" & yes, that would be serious, but I don't think that's likely.
