    Discoloration on Shed?

My ball python has just shed her second time with me, and I just want to make sure that everything has gone well. There are these really dark areas in the scales that she's removed; can anyone advise on what might cause this and whether or not it's healthy? I think she's shed in two pieces. I can see the tail on the shed I've taken out of her viv, and I can hear her under her hide making more 'shedding sounds'.

Darker areas are normal on some sheds, depending on the pigmentation of your snake. Some snakes shed skin that shows little or none of their patterns,
while others show a lot more. I'm not seeing anything unusual on that one photo you've posted.
