Re: Display cage
Thanks! She's 5 years old, about 3.5 - 4ft I think...not a super big girl compared some of the biaks I've had. However, I think she's probably a mountain locale based on her neo color and mite phased siblings, which accounts for her smaller size. She's also very mellow and easy to handle, as long as you don't smell like rat....she has struck and constricted herself twice so I definitely don't want her to tag my hand at feeding time.
I wasn't thrilled about having to mount the panel on the back wall but there wasn't enough room on the ceiling. I'm going to mount another one under it so I get better heat distribution. I would definitely recommend a ceiling mount.
For now I'm going to throw him in a tub when he gets here until he's eating regularly and then I'll start thinking of a set up. I usually convert old furniture, like my gtp's china cabinet.
It was so crazy when I started looking at bp's...I had never really looked at them before but I knew of some of the morphs years ago because I had a friend who was into them. Everything has come down so much in price, and there's tons of stuff I've never heard of. I was only looking to spend $200 max and the morph didn't matter...I just wanted something that visually appealed to me. I looked at several leopards but stumbled across this little lesser I also liked, and then I realized he was only $75...perfect.
