Snakes like hair dryers?!
My mrs has noticed everytime she puts the hair dryer on both of our ball pythons will start stretching out of there hide to investigate and return back to sleep when it goes off. Any reason or do they just like the noise?

Interesting...
Do you use the hair dryer to heat their prey?

They like heat and can feel the vibration, not hear it like we do.

No we have never used a hairdryer to heat up the food. I understand they dont hear as we do but I thought some people think they may be able to hear lower frequencies via vibration like you said so I wasn't sure if it was that. I don't think its heat as they come out immediately and the hairdryer is not used near them.

Yeah that's a good point ... my wife uses the hairdryer every morning ( it's kept in the snake room for convenience - me warming up mice ) ... my snake's especially the Kings think they're getting fed every morning

Kings always want dinnertime!!
Django was a lucky boy this past week, he got his own mouse on schedule then two refusals the next day (one was only a fuzzy though).
