Glad to hear it, Rex.
Winters in the Midwest causes havoc for snake owners with how dry the air gets and with furnaces sucking even more moisture out of the air. I finally broke down and bought a cheap humidifier for my herp room last year. It does not make a huge difference, but it does help the ambient humidity in the room and allows me to control humidity levels in my enclosures much easier.

funny roswell snuck a shed on me, and roo has nothing but bad sheds. roo always needs a soaking, and a little help with her sheds, which seems to have made her a more docile snake. after a soak, and a little peeling roo will sit in my gf's arms (with a towell wrapped around her) for ever. roswell on the other hand never has any trouble shedding. last week i fed him, and because of the move was unable to play with him until before feeding again. while he was downing his rat i made a spot check for any sheds, poo, or whatever. i found a perfectly coild shed under his cool cool side hide. funny thing is i didnt even know he was going into shed (the last time i fed him he looked perfectly normal, but a week later there is a shed. odd that i didnt catch it going on.
