Slight concerns about my BPs scales.

My male BP Max has some scales that seem to have old shed on them (the individual scales) he just shed last week. Should I be concerned or is it nothing to worry about? I don't know if I can (or how to) post pictures of him.

Do you feed your BP live or f/t? My dad's snake has the same problem, but in that case it was because of injuries from feeding, since we feed live, so that could be it, or maybe it is actually stuck shed. Then again, I've never heard of stuck shed on individual scales, so that's probably not it. As for posting pictures, use the free app Tapatalk.

I never have and never will feed my current and future reptiles live food. So that is definitely not the problem. Thank you for the help with the pictures

There is also a brown mark on his head. Is that common for BPs?

I've seen that before on BPs but I don't know what causes it, so I'm glad you asked & hope someone else will know more. I'm not convinced that those scales didn't
shed, I think it might be a fungal issue on some scales?

I really hope it's not fungi, but the best case scenario is it's a minor skin condition. Thank you for the information, I will look into it.

I know those scales appear not to have shed, but if this is what I've seen before, they may change texture (sort of shrivel up); a minor issue at this point, treated with a topical anti-fungal from your vet, unless I miss my guess? I think BPs may be more prone to this because of their very warm & humid enclosures.
