I've heard this about cobras before, that they will put up with quite a bit before they will actually bite. I once knew a guy who kept hots including a few cobras, and he always said that out of all of his snakes, the cobras worried him the least.
That was a fascinating and informative video. People often think of cobras when they think of snakes, especially venomous ones, and they're often held up as the pinnacle of snakes you don't want to meet, but apparently they're really in no hurry to bite anyone.
Interesting for sure. Cobras are admirable awesome snakes. Definitely the pinnacle of the serpent world as far as human myth, art and reverence.
They are not the most aggressive or deadly snakes though, I would much rather deal with a cobra, than a black mamba or a gaboon viper, or a host of other aggressive highly venomous vipers.
