    Anatomy question

Lucy has two little nubs, one on either side of her cloaca. I am curious what they are. Google has not been much help.

    Re: Anatomy question

Spurs - the remains of limbs from a very long time ago - I think (If I remember vertebrate natural history) that they are the remains of the first toe of the rear legs - they have some remnants of the pelvis too, not attached to anything - it just kind of hangs out in the muscles. The external spur is attached to this remnant pelvic bone

No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

But both males and females have them I assume? That's pretty neat.

The first time I saw one I thought it was a little bit of poop.
