Does the smell of a rabit affect ball pythons?
Could you keep a rabit in the same room as ball pythons? or would the smell of the rabit affect them?
Thanks.

I keep my Ball Python in the same room as my Flemish Giant and my Mini Rex and I don't think he even knows they are there

They will get use to it. If you let the snake go up to the cage though he will react thats for sure. My Breeder Rats are in the room with my snakes and when the snakes are out they want to go towards the Rat cages. Wash your hands and dont where the cloths you handle the rabbits with and handle the snakes or sooner or later you thumb will be a mistaken prey heat source.

I used to keep my rabbit in the same room as my racks and had zero issues. Now I wouldnt go housing a rabbit in the same room as my burm for obvious reasons.

Apples and oranges here, but my snakes are in the same room as my ferrets. They never even notice each other.

So long as you are providing food for your snake it won't go crazy because it smells rabbit funk (it wouldn't go crazy anyway). It is the same thing how aquariums keep sharks in with other fish. Your snake isn't going to loose its mind because some rodent lives in the same room. Now if you have a full grown reticulated python that has not eaten in 6 months and you have rabbits loose in the same room it is loose in that would be another story.
In short don't put your snake in the rabbit cage and you should be just fine
