    Clown BP price?

Is $300 shipped for a 700g male clown BP a fair price?

that's a steal for a shipped breeding size 1.0 Clown if it's healthy or a scam.

I believe it is a pretty good price. There aren't many for sale under 300, and they are mostly hatchlings. If it is from a reputable breeder, and of good quality it could be a great price. Imo, obviously.

Sounds like a good deal to me! I guess it depends on what you have going on, that male is ready to breed so if you have females and a limited budget it will get you off the ground. If your females aren't ready I'd wait on a male, the prices will slowly fall and you'll be able to get more genes in the mix a year or two down the road. Or if you just want a pet there are less expensive smaller male clowns out there. I just picked up a couple hatchlings this year and I'm getting into the clown game, a female clown and female lesser clown. I have a couple years before I'll even start looking at males.

I was planning on get female Het with a couple extra genes next year. I planned on getting a Het female since visual female clowns can be extremely expensive. So I took a chance on an auction and won and I was hoping it was a good win for me. I looked at the breeders page and he looks legit and I haven't heard anything negative about him in the Facebook community.

Yes, that is a good price assuming all is in order health-wise. At 700g, it is probably ~1 year old, maybe older. My guess is, the breeder was going to use it in a project then found something better or changed his mind. I have seen male clowns go for around that, but they are usually hatchlings. If you want to compared prices - you might try looking around morph market under clown.
