    Well, I am pleased to say that my Mabel is mite free. It’s been 3 days and we have seen nothing at all.

    Daily deep cleans with disinfectant, callingtons and some ‘fun’ baths the perseverance paid off.

    I’ve only got the one snake so I didn’t have to worry about them contaminating anything others.

    I’m keeping my beady eye though in case the little blighters sneak back in.

    Thank you all for your help! I thought I’d done my research but you guys are invaluable

    Keep in mind that these things have a life cycle. I don't remember the timelines exactly, but one missed egg can start the whole thing all over again. Be vigilant.

    Thank you! I think it’s 30 days from what I read. Hopefully we’ve got them all but she is being checked daily just in case.
