    And on another note:

Which would you pick: a nice single gene that's going to stay nice looking its whole life or a 5 gene that's going to look a hot mess 2 years from now? There's a reason majority of those multi gene flashy morphs only have pictures of first shed hatchlings and at most, yearlings on WOBP

Re: anyone wish they had different morphs

You're just reacting to a changing market is all.....and I'm guilty of being wowed as to what is available now.

I can remember not too long ago when a low white pied would run you $2000 ALL DAY, and they would sell as fast as the breeders could produce them

Now I look on Kingsnake and see the prices and can't believe how little once AMAZING morphs are going for.

Deals are still out there on expensive animals however!....watched a guy not too long ago pick up a scaleless het for $1200. Good luck finding that price!!!

Got my scaleles head for $900

As for what I would change had I known better. I would have gotten more recessive genes and not as many codom most of mine are codom. I have some recessive stuff but I'm further behind because I didn't jump on as fast as I could have

As a pet owner (any pet) you don't give them up because you like another one better. I don't get that at all. They become a family member. I love my boople and I wouldn't give her up for anything. Yep there are prettier snakes out there, so what. I can admire them but I won't sell boople because I'm suddenly not happy with how she looks as opposed to a different one.

I can see why breeders do it. That I feel is different.

    Agreed!

I got my scaleless head male for $1,200 just a month or so ago, but he was 500 grams and ready to breed. Very few totally scaleless animals out there right now and they command high prices, the real delay is the time it takes to grow up the females. I can't wait to work my scaleless project into my Desert Ghosts! I also saw a pied scaleless head so people are already way ahead of the game working it into recessives.

Here's the girl I just picked up, a Desert Ghost bumble bee!

    1. Gorgeous animal!
    2. I'm new and not familiar with all of the designer morphs, does scaleless head mean what it sounds like? It has no scales on its head?

That's exactly what it means, and it varies from snake to snake but usually there are just some scales missing right on top. The super form of said morph is a totally scaleless snake.

Nope I am very satisfied with what I have and I wouldn't trade mine for the world. Of course there are other morphs I would love to have additionally but even if I get more flashy expensive ones my basic pastel enchi will always be my favorite!!
