Humidity
Ok I know the question is usually how to get a higher humidity but I recently moved my ball pythons into a different room and usually without trying to change anything the humidity stayed around 60% and now it is staying at 80% any suggestions?

Re: Humidity
Where's the water dish? Is it on the heat mat? That could be part of the issue maybe.

Nope it's on the cool side I haven't switched anything I'm assuming the room I moved them to just keeps humidity better it is a smaller inclosed room.

What type of enclosure? Tub, rack, glass, wood, or PVC?
What type of substrate are you using?
How big is the enclosure?
What is the humidity in your room you keep your snake in?
It's hard to say anything without knowing more about the environment the snake is in.

I have Exo terra tanks with the front doors, using aspen, my problem is that I'm really only having trouble with one enclosure it's a 36"x18"x12" I have cleaned everything out of it and actually moved my largest snake out of it into a rack system. The snake I moved in has a smaller water bowl and not much has changed, I may just have to leave the top all the way uncovered.

Could be a faulty hygrometer. If every other enclosure is fine.
