She has eaten 2 hoppers since getting her, and has grown 20g. This lighting makes her look pink which is odd but she is pure.

Sorry, it’s not a great picture. The room was dark so I used the flash. Im so excited tho! Last week she got bit, so I was antsy to at least get her on ore killed. I’m thinking thawed won’t be an issue now. But who knows with ball pythons lol.

Awesome! F/T shouldn't be a problem now as long as you heat it up nice and good *knock on wood* lol I'm glad you were able to get her off of live at least ^-^ F/T is just a bit safer and easier when you have less animals IMO

She already has 2 small scratch marks and a bite mark on her from eating hopper mice. I was really scared of giving her anything bigger with larger teeth and a stronger bite. I hope she continues tanking at least pre killed food! I believe she is going into shed soon. I will try and get some good pictures of her after she sheds. Unfortunately I dont have a nice camera. Just an iphone lol.

I know I am in the minority here, but a few small scratches and a little bite from her prey is not a big deal. Pythons have evolved ARMORED SCALES for MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of years of killing live rodents and sometimes getting injured or even killed by their prey. Obviously we want our snakes to be healthy and unharmed, but your snake will adapt to the battles and most likely prevail against live prey! That being said, I feed frozen/thawed now... Yeah, she didn't even flinch at getting bit. However, I don't enjoy seeing marks on her. I want her to be a perfectly white snake without battle scars lol. She was the first snake I got to see eat live food. It was an interesting experience, but I am much happier at the thought of not having to worry about any more battle scars.
