Sanitizing a stick without bleach? (too big for oven)

So I want to sanitize an old stick I found, I sanded it down all over so there's no dirt or anything on it but I was to sanitize it... but without bleach if possible, does anyone know how to go about this? It's too big to fit in the oven

Soak it in a chlorohexidine or F10 solution

Just put it in your cage it'll be fine. The obsession with sterility in the hobby is ridiculous. Just check it for stuff that might bite like centipedes and crap. You can take a hair dryer set on hot to it and most critters will die or leave real fast however with no bark its not likely to have anything on or in it.

Don't put chemicals on the stick it'll soak in and take forever to go away.
