    Breeding questions

Semi new to breeding. I know there is a specific breeding season, but can a ball python female become gravid at anytime of the year? How do I tell when a female should be paired? Like I know what they should weigh and ages but is there a specific time of the month like with humans? I know this is stupid but I’m curious.

    Re: Breeding questions

There really isn't a specific breeding season. But most start sometime around October. Whenever they are big enough and mature enough you can start to pair them regardless of the month. I try to get a lock once a month until ovulation

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.
