Buy frozen mice from a reptile expo??
There is gonna be a reptile expo on August at LA.
I'm only interested in rodents, so anyone know once u paid how are they gonna prepared it for you?
Cuz I live 40 mins from the expo , I don't want all the mice to melt get gross and become useless, do they give you a cardboard box with ice in it ??
Also I'm only interested in buying jumbo mice and big adult mice, anyone know how much they cost per one ???
Do they charge tax or no ??? Only cash ?? this is the first expo that I'm gonna go to so have a lot questions.

Re: Buy frozen mice from a reptile expo??
I just went to my first Repticon. The rodents were in a Ziploc then they wrapped that in a brown paper bag. They did not provide ice but they were offering dry ice for sale. Since I knew I was buying them, I just took a cooler and ice packs. Price depends on the quantity you buy. I bought a ten pack each of rat pups and weanlings and it was right at $50. Would have been less of I bought 25 of one size. They were taking mc/visa and I believe they charged sales tax.

I suggest bringing a cooler full of ice. Buy early so they don't run out of the size/s you're looking for. Throw them in the cooler and go back in and enjoy the expo.
The prices will vary, so you'll have to see who will be there and go from there.
Taxes, I'm not sure, possibly varies state to state. There was no tax when I purchased in NH, but I don't know other than that.
Cash rules, you know they'll take cash, so might as well bring it. Though, cards are accepted at some booths.
