Don't want to freak you out but you should definitely be sure that the redish thing on your bp is not a burn from the UTH. Are you using belly heat source or a lamp? Thermostat controlled?
In my experience with dealing with scale rot, burns and trauma; that's not really what I'm seeing. It looks to me either like dye transfer or a skin reaction to the substrate. With that said you should try getting the animal off of the eco-sub and onto paper towel. I saw you mention something about adding Moss to up the humidity but I strongly recommend against it. If by some chance it is mild scale rot, or a bacterial infection or some other skin issue you run the risk of exasperating the issue. Keep it on paper towel, keep it dry and keep an eye on it. If it starts to get better then you can move it to aspen or one of the drier substrates but unless it's in shed I recommend against high humidity for reptiles showing skin issues.

I use thermostat UTH but it's set at a very low level. It typically registers 80-82F. On the opposite side of the terrarium I use overhead heat that registers 88-90F.
The marking doesn't really seem like she feels any distress at all when I rub the area.
And she actually is at the beginning of her shed cycle.
Under tank heater and a lamp are both on thermostat?
Bp can bury herself under that substrat directly on the heater and earn a burn, so you have to measure the temps under substrate.
Do you have above terarium lid lamp?
I dont know how your complete set up looks lije, usually we need to know what is the exact set up to come to the possible conclusion.
Ive seen this cases turning out to be a burn or a sensitivity to a substrate or in shedding process some snakes get a pink belly which is normal.
If your set up is fine, than it must be nothing to worry about.

The splotching has almost entirely faded at this point so I'm pretty sure it's just moisture combined with new reptibark. Which I still find annoying that there must be a dye added to it in production.
