    My first lock!

So I was having a couple of picky eaters (both females) and although I can't seem to find the post, someone suggested that maybe they smelt the males nearby... Whoever it was... I think you were right.

This is my first ever pairing and after just two hours I have decided to let them go all night. My second male is in deep shed so I held off on his pairing.

Sorry for the poor clarity and bad lighting, the Stinger Bee has been really feisty lately and jumped when I opened the drawer a bit. So pairing will be Enchi Spider to Enchi Banana.. Wanting those super enchi bananas!

Looking closely you can see the male smirking top right.

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Ok, as the title says this is in fact my first lock. I didn't really expect to start truly matching up my pairs for another 2-3 more months so im starting to look a bit deeper a lot faster than I expected. Being that I am new to this, I will have a ton of questions. Is there a specific site or guide that explains everything step by step and what to look for ( I enjoy guides that make it easy enough for an idiot)? I have an incubator I built from a wine cooler a couple months back and running, so I am set with that. There is just almost too much info out there, or maybe a better way of putting it is that not everyone does it really the same so it is hard to piece it all together.

Am i too off base by trying to pair them up each weekend for a few more months, noting every time I see a lock? I feel like I am getting my first lock when everyone else is starting to lay even though I know snakes are on their own time. I just wanted to entice her to eat hah. I'll continue to read and soak up the information.

Locked - went to bed then woke up - Locked - went to work and came home - Locked

*edit* I should mention that I have done a good bit of reading on the matter before I got a second-fifth snake so I am not totally without knowledge or preparedness for this. I was wanting to start pairing, its just a bit early. Unfortunately because of my location, I have the internet and not much else for information on the subject.

    Re: My first lock!

This I call "What ya lookin at!? We be busy!"
I have no idea if they were locked here or not because they were laying on top of their tails. I'm going to say yes because this was this morning and the evening I can clearly see they are locked.
