She thinks it would be a good idea to put link in a small 10 gallon sterilite with a hole in the top covered by a large sheet with a hile of course. Then she wants me to dangle the mouse in from the hole so Link dosn't see the tongs of my hand dangling the mouse and doin' the mousy dance. Good idea? Bad idea?

Interesting idea.....I may try this with my rosy boa. Some snakes don't do well with tongs.

I dont use tongs, i just drop it in there and give it a nudge for the rats. With the corn i just leave it in there and she slowly comes out and swallows it, i dont have to touch it at all.

alfy just struck at the tongs too. but only because i accidently dropped the rat in front of him when doin the rat dance but when i went to pick it back up he struck at the tongs. so i decided to leave it and shut the lid but i was worried he wouldn't go for it. but he did  and pretty quickly. i may give up the rat dance now and just drop it in and close the lid.
