Best way to set up a rubber maid? Pet sitting?

I have 2 months this summer where I will need a pet sitter for my ball python. I found someone very willing who has the capability to take him out daily and feed him as needed. I was thinking that a rubber maid will work best for him for ease of transport while still being secure. How do you set up your rubber maid? What heat source do you use, what type of hides, substrate, etc?

Also, what is a fair price for pet sitting a ball for 2 months?

    Thanks!

I do not recommend daily handling for a BP, especially not until 24-48 hours after feeding.
Here's a sticky that talks about setting up a tub (rubbermaid in your case): https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...e-Basics-*DUW*
Almost exactly like setting up any other enclosure, of course each has their own tweaking, aslong as the husbandry requirements are met and you're using a thermostat with your heating devices.
I'm not sure on the pricing as I've never had to pay for sitter services. Hopefully someone can chime in on that.

Thanks for the link! I did not see that one. :-) I am aware of the recommended feeding practices so I'll be sure to make sure the sitter knows not to handle for 2-3 days after feeding. I find Charlie does better when I handle him daily or every other day. :-)
