    hides with back heat

Hey, wondering how do you guys set up your hide for a hatchling rack with back heat. I'm just worried that the heat wouldn't go through but then again maybe the bp would hide between the hide and the back (i.e. sandwich)

I have a hatchling rack that uses back heat and I always just used the small reptile basics hides. This worked just fine for me. You don't need to do anything special with the hides. They will move all the way to the back if they need to be warmer.

Usually if they want to be warm they jam themselves between the hide and the back of the tub.

You can give them a layer of aspen in the bottom of the tub and they'll burrow under it along the back near the heat if they want to be warm.
