    Possible scale rot

    I

Has anyone ever had this? She's 8 months, eating good, active, doesn't go in her water dish, they don't seem to bother her but they bother me.

    Re: Possible scale rot

    Hi,

I think most of that is simply the very top layer of the new scales getting stuck to the old shed skin and getting pulled away during the shedding process.

I don't see anything to worry me - but maybe try upping the humidity slightly for the next shed?

Okay. The scales near her vent has been like that since before her last shed which was her first shed with me.
