It's traveling about an hour north of Los Angeles. The weather is around 66 degrees where I am, and it's around 60 degrees at lax airport

Yes I gave them a hard time. I just was concerned about the lil guy. I was told he was in the truck to the hub station so I was nervous because it get hot in the trucks plus his heat inside the box. But I'm taking your advice he will be o.k. Thanks a lot for the support

Fedex delays happen, I have 3 delays this past season over 2 months time, each time the snake was delivered a day later, the key is if you have shipper that knows what they are doing the animal will be fine.
And it is also best that you do not step in but rather let the breeder do the talking with Fedex and than get back to you.

This thread makes me nervous because like you, I'll be receiving my first snake ever in exactly a week. I'm really hoping that everything goes well. You'll have to post pictures tomorrow when you bring your new pet home!

Yea I'm just excited and nervous all at the same time. I contacted the breeder via email but I am on the west coast and he usually email me back the next day, so I just contacted them my self. The only reason I contacted FedEx was because I had my alerts set to my email on delivery. When I seen it was not delivered I called. I mean the snake is not cheap well for my first one it's kind of expensive lol I'm still working the payment off with the wife

Really the breeder should have been on the top of things and know that there was a delivery issue and be pro-active. I usually know there is an issue before my customers and contact them right away.
Breeders should track their packages because until the animal is safe and sound and delivered that is their responsibility.

Yes I agree with you all the way. He is a well known breeder matter fact i actually found out about him from this site. I can't blame him for not knowing, but I'm not a breeder so I don't know the in and outs of how they operate once the snake ships out. But thank you a lot on your in put, I just feel like if I never contacted them and he did not contact me I would of been way more stressed lol.
