    Hello!

Hello all! I'm fairly new to ball pythons. I recently picked up a baby the other day. I have it set up in a 20 gal enclosure, with aspen, UTH, UV lamp and all the works. I did my fair share of research to say the least. I am stuck on 1 topic. My snake is about 16" in length. How often should I feed it, as well as what size mouse? From my understanding, it's 1 hopper per week. I need some expert advice!

    Once a week is fine.
Make sure you have either a thermostat or dimmer regulating your UTH so you don't cook your animal.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Welcome to the forum! Pit's thermostat recommendation is an important and often overlooked piece of equipment. If you aren't using one, you def should be.
