    how many gallons is that and is it big enough longterm for 1 ball python?

    rhinocerous beetles arizona/dynastes granti

    36x18x12 is a 30 gallon breeder tank. It's a good size for an adult bp. Probably too big for a baby. I'd wait until the bp hits 2-3 feet before moving it up to that. You can keep a bp under 2 feet in a 20 gallon tank(2x1). That should work.

    He can use the 30 gallon breeder for the baby bp, aslong as he has tons of hides, some fake silk plants ...

    i have roxy my 21 incher in the 30 gal, shes doin fine with her three hides and climbing tree.

    Tomorrows the big day!!

    i dont understand how you can put a 2-3 foot ball with 2 hides, a water dish big enough for the ball to fit in, and bushes, branches into a 20 gallon tank.

    it has to be a 20 gallon LONG tank. they take off some of the height and add it to the width. it's plenty big for a juvenille bp and all of their stuff.
