    Ball python breeders

I've been looking to get a ball python, but would like some suggestions on people/places to get him/her. I don't overly care about the gender, but would like it to be younger and definitely captive bred. I live in Oregon but Washington is close enough that I could get one there, too. I'd rather get it local than have it shipped to me. Anyway, I'd like to hear if anyone knows where of from who I should get it, thanks.

If you are near PDX you should check this out. http://www.pdxreptileexpo.com/

If you are open to buying online, there are some fine breeders here on the forum.

    Re: Ball python breeders

Thank you, I actually am planning to go to the reptile expo already, but I'm probably not going to buy there, I may collect business cards, though. I'll also check out the online sellers, but it's been consistently below freezing here, so that's my main reason for wanting to go local. If I can't find any good breeders around here within the next couple months, though, I'll buy online when it warms up. Thanks again!

Well there is a breeder in Burlington Washington that I know of, but that's a little far for you to drive.

Look up Jerry Robertson who also goes by SnakesRkewl. I believe he is in Oregon. He's a good guy and should be able to help you out. Brian Breikss is in Washington and his site is Breaking Balls. He's another good guy who is on here (Simple Man) every so often.

why wouldn't u buy at the show if possible? u can save on shipping and see and handle the BP, ask questions, etc. if the roads aren't frozen, i'm planning on making the drive down to the show myself. i usually visit each table/booth to check out the animals and then circle back to the one(s) i want or catch my eyes. either way, reptile expos are fun!

that's Doug with HDI Reptiles and his partner handles the feeder biz - Reptile Snack Shack. very awesome animals - i have 3 from him. some others i know off the top of my head, there's also Girls with Balls in Sedro-Wolley, Tropical Tom in Seattle, Tom at Northwest Reptiles in Vancouver, Wendy from Rep Stylin in OR, etc.

Yeah that scaleless head is way high end, do you know if they got their breeder from BHB?

I might buy there, but I perfer the idea of being able to look into the sellers feedback before buying. Mainly because it's my first snake and I'm not sure how well my disease and sickness identifying abilities are yet. I might buy from there, though, I'm still not sure yet.

If I don't buy from there, then I will probably look into NW Reptiles and Jerry Robertson, since they're the closest.

    Thanks for all the help!!
