How much does your big females weigh?

Ok so when I had Rosey in at the vet, the vet weighed her and she weighed in at 12.7 lbs and she is between 6-7', probably closer to 7' as she is in shed now. I have heard from some people that a female boa that big should weigh between 15-18 lbs. The vet told me Rosey looked in good shape and I personally think she looks pretty good in weight. Anyways, what do you guys think, should I be feeding her more often or keep with her 2-3 week schedule of a large rat/small rabbit? I'll put a couple pics to try and give you an idea of how she looks. These are a few older pictures about 1-2 months old tops. I don't want to bug her as she is being antisocial in her hide going into shed.

I think she looks great how she is, if a little on the lean side. A little more weight to her wouldn't hurt her but shes fine how she is.

My big girl is 8ft and weighs about 21lbs. Your girl looks good no reason to change anything! Some just stay on the leaner side and others get a little thicker. I feed my girl less often than your schedule and she weighs more but still looks good. I think looking at their body tone and shape gives you a better idea on if their weight is good rather than the numbers.

Yeah I try and go by the body tone and shape but Rosey changes her shape on me all the time haha. Like if you look at the picture where she is curled up around her water bowl, she gets kind of roundish looking. Then when I take her out and let her run around on me or the bed, she gets a much more squared look with good muscle tone. She's so deceptive haha.

I think she looks great Sauzo, nothing wrong with lean at all. She will let you know if you are not feeding her enough.

Keep in mind also that those figures are guideline and averages. Remember, very few things are set in stone with these magnificent creatures.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

That's a dang good looking critter in my opinion. Great variety and well kept snakes in your collection man! Rather see them lean and muscular than an overstuffed sausage.

Haha thanks, tell that to Caesar. Vicky was all cruising around the front of the cage wanting to come out and play, so I bent down and opened her cage to let her climb out onto me and I hear a bang on the door of the cage above and look up to see Caesar with his face glued to the feeding door looking right at my face haha. Guess the 7 day feeding schedule is out the window this week. It's been 3 days and this is the first time he actually stuck the glass. So I stared at him a bit with Vicky on me and he got bored and went back on top of his warm hide. Guess no dinner means no him
