    Ball Python making sneezing noise?

    Hi,

I just posted this on Reptile forums, and thought I try here also.

    "Hi,

My python was just delivered today. He was put into his Viv about 3 hours ago and, seemed absolutely fine, drinking, checking his surroundings, happened to have a poop also. He was basking under his lamp for about 20 minutes absolutely fine, but I heard this really weird hissing / sneezing sound. This is my first python but I have had a corn snake for a while and never experience anything like this.

He made this sound, so I looked in his viv through the glass. About 10 seconds later he did it again, and his head twitched to the side when he made the sound. This was about 5 minutes ago and he has not done it since. The pet shop is now close for christmas so I just left them an email, awaiting a reply.

I believe he is around 3 years old but, not completely sure.

Any ideas / advice what is wrong with him, and or, if this is normal?"

This is exactly what I posted, any ideas, really worries right now. He has new bark as his substrate, and its not very humid right now, as I don't want to stress him out more by opening the tank and spraying water.

Possibly respiratory infection, I'd take him to a vet. For now bump up his temps. Could also be because he drank a lot of water and he got some in his trachea.
