Aggressive issues

Hey all ! I'll start by saying I'm new to owning BP's ... I dated a guy for a short time who had one and I fell in love. I saw a good deal online for 2 BP's so I jumped at it . I have been loving the learning curve and I find it a great hobby in terms of getting their tanks set right . Now !! For my question ... when I first got my female stingerbee she was great , my kids handled her often as did I . More recently I took her out and she was laying on a friends neck and she struck at me . I was shocked , we hadn't had her out for long so I was confused as to why she was upset . I have been a little apprehensive to take her out again so I tried again tonight , I hadn't had her out for more than 1 minute and she struck at me again . My male BP is amazing , have never had any aggressive behaviour from him .
I just don't know what to do , if she is too aggressive to handle then I cannot keep her anymore . Does anyone have some insight ??? Any advice would be appreciated! TIA !

How long have you had them and when did she start striking? Sometimes sudden striking has to do with stress- maybe you can post pics of her setup?

Even if it is the same setup as the male, two ball pythons won't always react the same way to the same situation.

I'm up to 8 BPs now in the collection. 7 of them are teddy bears. The 8th I have to use a snake hook with to even change her water bowl. But she is still new. I'm fully confident that with time and age, she will tame out a little bit. And even if she never does, then so be it. I love her just like all the others. She's just got "pizazz" lol.

How long have you had them? (They need the first entire week just being left alone and then even after that, wait at least 3 feeds before handling.)

How old are they? Baby's can be nippy because everything is huge and potentially out to eat them. It takes time and work.

The other question is what are you feeding and how often....sometimes they strike because of being hungry.

I've had my mystic for several months now. The 1st 3-4 days he was cool with me picking him up. On the 4th/5th day he flipped script. He got bitey/defensive. I watched quite a few vids on youtube. My mystic is still bitey but once out hes calm and loves to explore

Just a thought but if she was gravid could that cause more of this reaction?
