Has anyone heard of tricide neo?

So I have a bp who has an antibiotic resistant respiratory infection the vet did the culture i don't remember the strain but that isn't important. So we did the antibiotic shots which have come to an end with only and 40 percent improvement so the vet and i decided to switch to nebulization as it is less stress full for both me and my snake than injections are. but the vet wants me to use something called tricide neo it is generally used for koi fish but the vet said it nebulizes well and works for bps my concern is Ive never heard of tricide neo I cant find anything about it pertaining to reptiles so im just concerned is it safe so if anyone has used it please let me know how it went

Nope, unfortunately never heard of this medication. If this is a fish antibiotic that the vet wants to use on a resistant bacterial/respiratory infection i would second guess that treatment. There are more specific antibiotics and antibiotic combinations for resistant bacteria. Actually, i would look for a board certified exotic vet who has a approved practice that is overseen by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. You can go to the Veterinary Centers for Birds & Exotics listings for one in your area. This way you can get a second opinion on that medication and form of treatment.

    Are in the U.S.?

It almost sounds like slang for triple biotic Neosporin.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Ok. I understand your point but i was just saying to try and get a second opinion on the efficacy and usage of this medicine on reptiles. Sometimes you can just ask for a consultation and second opinion for informational purposes.
