The best time to switch is when they're hatchlings. They're ravenous when babies. Good job and like Neal said, take advantage now and get it switched over to rats.

I don't have anywhere near me that has hopper size rats. I may go back to the show next month and get him rats.
Anywhere suggestions for online that doesn't charge a pretty mint for shipping?

A hatchling BP can eat a rat fuzzy easily.

Interestingly .... Over here in the UK .... I pay £2.15 for a rat pup but I can get an Jumbo XL mouse which weighs more for £0.56 so that's 25% of the price of a smaller rat pup .
