Still isn't working for this pairing. It's still giving these results, which aren't correct:
- 50%: Albino 50% Candy
- 50%: 100% Albino 50% het Candy
Think about it this way. Your Albino will pass an Albino allele to every offspring, making them all essentially 100% het Albino. Your Candino will pass either an Albino allele or a Candy allele to every offspring. The offspring that get two Albino alleles will be visual Albinos. The offspring that get an Albino allele and a Candy allele will be visual Candinos. There are no other options.

A double het candy albino IS a candino. Since the traits are compatible with one another they produce an animal that looks like a cross between a candy and an albino, even though it isn't homozygous for either trait. It's like the albino type 1 complex in retics, with the purple albino to white phase albino breedings yielding all lavender babies. The analogous breeding with ball pythons would be a candy to albino breeding producing all candinos.

Which calculator?
It's one of those, technically correct, but kinda confusing ways to put an outcome. Simply put, each baby will have a 50/50 shot at being either an Albino or a Candino, and a statistically perfect clutch will be half and half.
I'll cross my fingers for mostly Candino babies!
Eric and Trisnake beat me to it!

Thanks Alicia, it is the Morph Market calculator. Thought I captured the whole page when I copied and pasted it.

Ah, ok! I just went and looked at that one, which looks like it also recommends OWAL's site, then the World of Ball Pythons/Morph List one. Of all the crazy things, WoBP actually has it right

But the male is a visual albino, not 100% het. Right?

In a round-about way, yes. You can't just select Candino as a morph in the Genetic Wizard though. You need to find it elsewhere first and then add it to the Wizard, which then splits it into its pieces before doing the calculation.

. Yep. I saw that yet it ( Morph Market ) still performs a calculation.
