With the holidays approaching...

Im currently in the process of building a rack and the last item i will need is new proportional thermostat
preferably the herpstat 2.
But with the holidays approaching i was wondering if it would be a smart move to wait a month or two
to get a good price on one, if SR or any other retailer might do a holiday sale.
that being said, they are fairly priced and i am more than ready to buy one at the current moment if no one has heard of such a thing.

You just missed the sale they had on Herpstat Redlines. Was like $20 or something like that. I ended up picking a Herpstat 1 Redline. Now I got 4 Herpstats lol. Wish the sale was for the Herpstat 6 as that is what I want to order next. My advice is if you don't need one NOW, then I would just wait and watch until you do need it. Then if no sales before that time, just order one when you need it.

In regards to SP Herpstat (insert any number here) prices and sales, is it best to order direct from SR or is there another outlet available that is competitively priced? Obviously want a high quality stat and trying to save money along the way.

I have ordered all my Herpstats straight from Spyder Robotics. Now I did order a Herpstat 1 redline back in Oct sale and I just ordered another Herpstat 2 redline a few weeks ago on the Christmas sale. That sale is over but I do believe Zack Green Reptiles is having a Herpstat sale until end of the year. And I believe there is free shipping. I have never ordered from him as like I said, I have always just ordered straight from Spyder Robotics but if you want one, would be worth a check out as I believe its still the 10% off.
