    3-1 shelter info?

i am wanting to get some sort of humid hide for my bp he is only roughly 22" long i was wandering if the large zoomed 3-1 cave would work for a long time or if he would grow out of it eventually i am wanting something kinda fancy since he sits out in the living room where everyone can see him but i also want it too work for the purpose (humidity)....he is currently going through a bad/spotty shed (when i got up this morning i seen patches of shed all over and it honestly freaked me out a little) i am waiting for my t8 to arrive so i can control humidity alot better i am spraying everyday to keep the humidity up but lets face it that is a royal pain and personally i dont like how it spikes and then drops just (to me) seems like it would do more harm than good any suggestions it well needed...... thank you.

A quick fix to the current shedding issue would be a lidded container with wet spagnum moss, or even wet paper towels. Make sure it's nice and warm, not hot, and leave him in there for a bit to work the skin off. After about 10 minutes, pull him out, and see what you can rub off of him. If there is still shed, add more warm water and repeat. Works every time That should help until the T8 arrives.

No worries, you'll get through this shed. Once you have the T8, keeping proper humidity will be a walk in the park. If he still has shed stuck on him, go ahead and put him in the container with warm moss to help him work it off. I'm sure he'll feel much more comfortable after that.
