I have my bp in a Sterilite with holes drilled on every side. I have about 20 on each long side and 4 on each end. Despite this, my humidity will stay at 70% and I live in Phoenix, so I know the ambient humidity in my apt isn't an issue. I know this humidity level is a little on the high side. Should I try making more holes in his enclosure? I have a pretty good sized water dish in there, should I lower the water level, or maybe get a smaller one?

Do any of you have problems with the humidity being too high and what do you do to lower it?

    Thanks

You can always just make more holes (small ones of course) and then if too much moisture is escaping cover them with tape (outside).

70% humidity isn't bad if yout substrate isn't damp or anything. Its humidity that over the 85-90 range over a long period of time is when u start worrying. I guess with a higher humidity like that, you may want to clean and disinfect the cage more often to make sure bacteria isn't growing out of control, as well as keeping an eye on the substrate to make sure no mold is growing. Keeping all those things in check, 70% isn't much to fret about.
