Should I pip?

Im on day 68 at temp of 87 F, and eggs have been dimpled in like they are gonna hatch any moment for a week now. Condensation in egg box has been heavy as well for several days. Should I pip eggs myself? Or is this long of an incubation normal for a little cooler temp?

Still sounds rather long for the eggs not to have pipped by now at that temp. How has your humidity percentage been levelled at? Any discolorations or abnormal visual defects in the eggs? What was the age and weight of the female and what was the pairing? Are you sure about the dates?

To give you an idea I incubate at 88.5 and they pip at day 60 day 61, I only cut when the first one slit.

Cutting too early if you do not know when for sure they are due to pip naturally can cause issues (exposure to bacteria, drying out etc)

Yea the eggs look good, I did go out of the country for a week at the beginning of incubation and the humidity was low... I got that fixed and everything has been tracking as normal since...it's a proven pastel/spider pair for me, second time breeding them..they had a year off last season

so I finally have a little head poking out of one of the eggs this morning on day 71...I guess the lower temp just made incubation longer

It does that's why until you are sure on the time it takes for your hatchling to pip naturally, you should not cut before the first one pips out.

Once you know when they come out you can cut 2 to 3 days before however keep in mind that the earlier you cut the more things can go wrong.
