Controlling the ambient temperature in rack system

Wanting to make sure I buy the right set up. Since where I live the winters get cold unsure how cold the room will be I am housing the snakes in will get I remember from last winter my Town house got down to the upper 60's but I didn't own snakes an didn't run the heater either..
Wondering if cages would hold temperature better since their completely enclosed?

Also if I get the 3 tub Rack what level do I place probe an what temperature do i set thermostat at?

Probe usually goes in the middle of the rack.

You will need to heat the room if its that cold with a rack.
You will probably be better off with enclosures and radient heat panels.

That's with heater completely off .. I use propane for my heater so I'll just set it for 75

Or use a electric space heater for one room as opposed to entire house.... Thanks again sorry for multiple responses.
