Thanks everyone for your replies! So almost everyone I have shown this little guy to has said that it has leopard or some kind of pattern morph. The interesting thing is that this guy was produced by pairing a Pastel to a Mojave. It's not a pastave, so it's just a pastel as far as I know. To complicate matters much more, this same pairing produced a BEL last year and I was attempting to prove that it wasn't a case of retained sperm or Parthenogenesis by repeating the pairing. Even worse, last year only one of 6 eggs made it full term and this year 7 of 8 eggs died during incubation. The male did sire another clutch last year and there were a few interesting babies, but nothing like this. Here is a pic of the mom and dad.
Any chance that pastel has Russo het luecistic? That might explain the crazy pattern and the bel.
That's definately on my short list of probable possibilities. I didn't think its would mess with the pattern that much though. I guess I'll just have to wait another year and repeat the pairing again to get a better idea of what it going on.
