    Success

    Well finally it happend.
About 5 months ago i purchased a beautiful adult het red axanthic female.ever since i got her she would not eat. nothing i tried worked. live f/t rats mice gerbils even tossed a hamster in with her nothing. temps were perfect. humidity perfect. had hides everything was right.
she just would not eat. now mind you she is a 2000+ gram adult ball I was not worried that she wasnt eating but still we all know the frustrations when you know it is right and they say NOPE. tonight as i was feeding i tossed a live small rat in with her just because I always offer her even if she refuses but instead of doing my normal make sure every one eats before i leave the room and remove any uneaten rats i jut turned the lights off and left the room. that was about 10ish. when i went back to check on her 45 min or so later no rat finally she took something.
I wish it was a bigger meal than it was but hey im not going to nitpick over that tonight. she took a 5 week old small rat that i would give to a snake half her size but its a start. I doubt that rat was 75 grams but still thankful she took something

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.
