Is it safe?
So I'm finally ready for my new ball python! I went out to my local pet store to get some rabbit food, and passed by a fridge that had some rats in it. I though, why not? I looked for a rat pup and bought it. I inspected it and saw some black spots and the ears are kinda yellow, is it safe to feed? I want to give my snake a nice first impression for his new home

A picture would be good, but the yellow spots are concerning.

Alright, If it's fine then I'm probably just a worry junk. First time and dont wanna mess up .

Yeah the black spots just look like dirt to me and the yellow seems to be the fur pattern. If you're really worried you should throw it out. That's what i do anyway.

Once you thaw it out give it a sniff....you'll know right away if it's bad. It looks like a normal f/t to me though.
