    Will UTH burn luggage straps?

My tub isn't long enough to latch it down proportionately without strapping over the UTH... is it safe? (btw I do have a thermostat)

I am guessing without knowing the chemical makeup of the straps but if it is not burning the tub it is highly unlikely that it would burn the straps. If you are that concerned though you could always use binder clips. As an aside, hefty tubs have very good locking lids (about 8 bucks at target), not even my big girls have managed to budge one yet.

If it's on a thermostat set to the correct temps (around 90), nothing will burn. That's lower temperature than your hand on a warm day.
