Escaped BRB

Long. Story. Short. She's gone. I found out within 24 hours, though. She's roughly 2 feet long. Her tank was in the living room, and assuming she went along the wall she probably ended up in the master bedroom. We have a 3 bedroom house though. Aaaaaaaannnnd ice cream on the damn cake, little baby kitten came home yesterday. We're all sleeping in the living room. It's the noisiest room in the house so I think the likliness of her still in here is slim. I've tried flour, live bait traps, humidity traps, dead bait traps, painters tape at every doorway. I'm growing grey hairs I swear. It's been 4 days now. Ceran wrapped / taped close every vent and hole in the house, tore apart everything, nothing.

Someone give me hope!! Penny lines are my next project. Also I'm concerned about the humidity.... how long can she be in lower humidity?? I have bowls of water and moss placed throughout the house..... she's at least 1 year old, possibly 2.

I just got my BP, Copernicus, back from an escape a few days ago! With snakes, I say you don't find them, they sort of just show up. While BP humidity requirements aren't too particular/an absolute emergency, I'm not too sure about your BRB. But I'd say simply be patient, for snakes can go missing for months at a time, and will show up when they see fit. For instance, we found Copernicus in about a month, wrapped up under my gerbil's cage. Have you tried the flour trick? Or the plastic bags?

I had one that went AWOL on a slither-about for three weeks. I put bowls of water down and found him drinking from one.

Another trick - though this will likely drive the kitten nuts - is to get a live mouse and leave it a SECURE enclosure because you don't want two escapees. Put a snake hide and water bowl for your escapee next to it. Eventually your snake will get hungry and head for the mouse.

I had a baby carpet python perusing the space between the ceiling and the roof for almost 2 months before he decided to check out some rats I was unthawing. Idk about taping the vents because the snake may already be in there and you may just be cutting him off from finding his way back.

I don't think she's in the vents, she could potentially go in but it would be an uncomfortable squeeze and there'd be nothing to hang onto after she penetrated the floor grate, but I am checking them regularly to see if there is evidence of that. I let my little piebald BP loose near her tank a few times and watched where she went to give me some ideas.

Also - I had 3 bowl traps with water, moss, and a dead mouse in the middle in each of the bedrooms. Assuming she followed along the wall closest to her terrarium she probably ended up in the master bedroom and the following night so, two nights ago Kama my boyfriend called out to me and asked if I had touched the mouse. It was still there but it was squished really far into the Moss the Moss was all pushed to one side and the water underneath was exposed. It looked as if she had climbed in and pushed them aside and laid on top of the water and Moss. I have tape on the outside of that door and it doesn't seem like she's left that room. Now it is possible that it was my dog, however he sniff it when I first set it down and I told him no and he's very good about that and very very trained as well as he sniffed a second one and didn't seem interested in it at all so the idea that he would have pushed it all to one side to get to the water is unlikely. I'm not kidding I can leave food on plates on the floor in my house and unless I invite my dog to eat off of it he'll leave it alone he's very very trained.
