Medium or large rat
So my girl is about 1800grams. I feed her f/t medium rats about every other week, a lot of the time it's once a month as she's picky. Come winter she full out doesn't eat reliably for 4-5 months.
Recently she is just super hungry. Not picky at all, so she's been eating once a week, as I try and make up for her winters off. Can I up to large rats? Get more food in her before her food strike.

I wouldn't move her to large rats. Believe it or don't, but that is one way of triggering a fasting period. .

Re: Medium or large rat
If you think she is difficult now feeding large rats will only make it worse.
Even my 3500 grams and 4000 grams females do not get anything larger than medium.
They are overfed in captivity, to keep them feeding with consistency keep feeding smaller preys.
