    Re: Chlorhexadine or f10sc?

I just ordered F10SC and F10SCXD. It will be my first time using but your going to find a number of people that use both these products and Chlorhexadine. From what I've read on here and other places online is that both products are good as long as you dilute properly. I did read on reptile basics that once you mix chlorhexadine with water that you should use it in 30 days and they didn't say that about f10. They are both spray and wipe. Check out reptile basics, they give you a lot more info on F10 products.

    Re: Chlorhexadine or f10sc?

The reason to use the Chlorhex in 30 days is because it tends to starts crystallizing out. This makes the rest of the solution too low to be effective. Truthfully, it sometimes crystallizes even sooner. If you use the Chlorhex, make up just what you need. Be sure to do a quick clean with it first to clear the surface, then recover it and allow the Chlorhex to soak on things for 10 minutes before wiping it off again.
