My small collection!
Hello! I have a small collection of snakes that i kind of want to share to see what you guys think! (If the pictures are too small, I think you can click on it for a bigger picture)
This is my first ever BP, Ryuu. I rescued her from this lady whom looked like she kept her in a storage bin, with only a piece of drift wood in it. The lady I got her from said she escaped and they found her after two weeks, under their drier. My ex paid for her for me(only $20, and they got me a rat for her with the $20, so basically my ex paid about $10 for her. When I first got her, she was so dehydrated and starved, she was as big around as a quarter, maybe a little bigger. Now, all her scars and what not(you can see one on the top of her head) have healed, she's in a good weight. She's a really nice snake and she's one I slightly favor(given, that I do love them all). Also, she deserves a better picture but most of my pictures got deleted, sadly, and this is one of my most recent picture of her(also, she's the snake around my neck)

This is my second snake, Orochi. I posted an ad on CL for wanting a BP (how I got Ryuu) and before I could take it down, another person contacted me about getting rid of their son's snake, whom went off to collage and couldn't take Orochi with him. They offered him for me for free, even came a long ways to give him to me, and all the supplies they had for him. so who could pass that up? Especially when he wasn't being properly taken care of(his cage was full of crap).

These I had gotten as rescues as well, recently too, so I don't have many pictures yet. These were also free with all their supplies and in the process of getting healthy

Thanks for checking out!

Ahh... Are you gonna try to rehome to good homes or just kinda build a collection? I seek homes for my rescues, but my first one from several years ago I'm keeping. I'm in love with her, haha. I've found it takes a loooong time to find the right home, so at times it can be a pain, but just the reward of making these beautiful creatures feel better is so fulfilling! Thanks for making their lives better!

You do rescues as well? That's cool! And no, I'm just trying to build to my collection. Once I've had an animal for too long, and interacting with it for so long, It would be a bit too hard for me to re-home them without knowing what's happened to em ya know? Plus, even if most I rescue and keep normals (I know Orochi is a het pied or albino, I forget now what the reptile expert said, and Raiden the lemon blast morph aren't normals, and I don't think Mizuchi is a normal either(shes the one I rescued with the lemon blast morph)) it'll still be a nice collection. There's one I couldn't make his life better, but at least he's not suffering and I think he had a good last day with me.
Although eventually I want a Burmese or Reticulated python, maybe even a pied, etc.
Also, just recently I've been looking at Ryuu and think "...wow.. I'ts been almost a year and now you're shedding(most the time) well, eating well, in good weight, etc" and just look at her in amazement of how far she's come, from probably a few more weeks, probably less than that, to death to better living.

Thanks! There's a good bit of scars on Ryuu, I still have yet to have the scales on her belly fix but i had someone tell me to use silvadene cream on it(they're like split but kind of healed? Kind of hard to explain, I'll take a picture later and upload it, I have somewhere to go to now)
Yeah, I think I, as everyone else whenever I take him to the pet store whom likes snakes, love his colours.

See what I mean? I've never gotten her to fully heal, looks slightly better now than when I first got her. any remedies to help? Or should this be left alone?
