    eye caps on

Our 11 foot red tail, which we got as a rescue about 3 months ago, seems to have the eye caps still on. He has shed once in this period. He will not eat and is getting rather skinny. The fact that he can't see may be a factor.

I have tried to use tape to remove the caps and have put him in a warm tub of water with some olive oil, which did make removing the skin on his head that did not come off with the shed easy to remove. But we are getting worried about the eyes.

This is my first post on this forum so any advice that could be offered would be helpful.

I'm kind of new here too but with my ball python I soaked her and just used my finger to pull it off. I put my finger in the center of her eye lightly and pulled down and it came off. Not sure if that's right but it came off easy.
