My guy is a real ball python now

As of last night, my little man has joined the ranks of true ball pythons...he refused his first meal. Last week he refused to strike so I left the f/t rat in his cage, he ate it about 5 min later - no constricting, just lazily chowed down. Last night I left it with him for 3 hours, and nothing. He's at 575 g and 10 months old as of this am. I'm going to wait 5 days and re-offer...and try not to worry too much. I knew this day would come eventually, but I still was secretly hoping he'd be the exception to the rule and always eat

Well he must not be such a little man anymore =) lol hope the fast doesn't last long I am dreading the day our girl refuses haha I know it will come but I'll still be a worrying snake mother.
