Maybe Wierd Pastel Ball Python?
I have a male pastel ball python and he likes to be handled, is very attatched to me, like he follows me when I put him back in the habitat, and eats his food. Is there something wrong or did I get lucky? Also, hes the first snake ive ever touched, and I bought him.

Geo just sounds like a very friendly BP. he probably likes the warmth of your hands/body, so he follows u when u try to put him back. make sure the temps in his habitat with a 90ish degree hotspot. i'm glad u got him for your first snake.

So I got lucky? Cool. And any tips on how to read behavior? I really dont know how to tell if hes happy or stressed. I dont know much about snakes in general but my boyfriend has been helping me out with him.

there's alotta cool, friendly snakes. lol i have a buncha happy ones. u got lucky that u found one hit it off with right away and love.
happy = eating, shedding, pooping regularly. growing. also they like to hide esp. during the day. friendliness.
stressed/unhappy = constant roaming, soaking in waterbowl, balling up, hissing, head in an S-shape strike position. bad shed, refusing food.
that's some general stuff and ymmv. the longer u keep the snake, u will learn more of it's quirks and personality. for example, u may get a roamer who likes to explore whenever out. or u may get a couch potato u could chill and watch tv with.
BP's are the puppy dogs of the snake world. welcome to the club.
RIP Mamba
